Girl Power!

Our “Girl Power” World Changer Club is hard at work collecting gently used children’s furniture for families moving from Steadfast House into their own homes.

This group has designed and led, quality service initiatives to uplift the children and mothers living at Steadfast House. From making, baking, and delivering Valentine’s cookies and bouquets, to collecting food, hygiene and baby care items, to making fun and cuddly pillow pals, and fund raising for, building and painting  a picnic table and a playhouse for the children’s playground, this powerful group of young girls are making a positive impact on the lives of others and themselves.

As they have explored global issues that affect girls they have grown their gratitude for the things that they have available to them each day such as regular meals and access to education. With a spirit of thankfulness they are giving back to their community!

They are currently collecting gently used children’s furniture which they are cleaning and repainting in fun ways. This furniture will be given to children moving into housing from Steadfast House.
