Heart of the Cross welcomes Priscilla as our new World Changer Club-Global Leadership Intern!

“Hi Heart of the Cross friends!

My name is Priscilla Del Aguila Vienrich and I am a junior at Warren Wilson College. I will be joining Heart of The Cross Ministries this year as their first World Changer Club-Global Leadership Intern. I am currently pursuing a B.A in Global Studies with a concentration in Peace and Justice Studies and have a deep interest in international peace and conflict resolution and international development.

My family and I emigrated to the U.S in 2001 from my native country of Peru. My experience as an immigrant living in the U.S and working within multi-cultural communities has shaped my sense of urgency to learn about and act on the impacts of globalization and other macro-level factors on people in local and global communities.
I am deeply committed to public service and am looking forward to participating effectively in Heart of the Cross global leadership initiatives and facilitating socio-economic, political, environmental, and cross-cultural conversations within our World Changers Clubs.

From this internship I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the diverse community engagement landscape and the multitude of creative ideas being implemented throughout the various local and global regions that are focused on by the World Changers Clubs.”
