Heart of the Cross in Haiti 2015
Our Executive Director, Jessica Tripp, is in Haiti for two weeks in March, of 2015. The trip is multi-purposed, with a focus on continued relationship building and partnering with various organizations working to improve the lives of impoverished Haitians.
Assisting a Dental Team from Florida
Jessica made the flight from Florida to Port-au-Prince in partnership with a Florida dental/medical mission team and Missionary Flights International, an outfit that has over fifty years of experience flying mission to Haiti, The Dominican Republic and The Bahamas. Missionary Flights International is a nonprofit that provides alternative transportation for areas that couldn’t otherwise be easily reached.

Partnering and Praying with Zamar
Lead by Pastor Guerry Lefranc, Zamar Ministries, operates a church and a school for approximately 350 kids who could not otherwise afford to attend. Zamar also supports local missions in nearby mountain villages and on occasion, rears orphaned children!
The work Jessica does on this trip is directly applicable to the Heart of the Cross World Changer Clubs. These groups educate and inspire Asheville, NC youth to work on global problems that put them in community with God’s children around the world.
